Local News Longtin wins another term as head of LU student union (Thunder Bay Post)

The president of the Lakehead University Student Union has easily won re-election to another one-year term. Richard Longtin garnered 695 votes, or about a 57 per cent majority. He easily out-distanced his challengers, Ronnie Smith polled 244 votes, followed by Ian Dasti at 190 and Maggie Ryan at 72.
